Comex Market Update : Epic Research Malaysia

Crude-oil futures rose sharply on Wednesday as the prospect of a cease-fire in eastern Ukraine spurred hopes for stability in the region.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for delivery in October CLV4, -0.48% jumped $2.66, or 2.9%, to settle at $95.54 a barrel. That was its highest settlement in a week.
October Brent crude on London’s ICE Futures exchange LCOV4, -0.55% rallied $2.43, or 2.4%, to end at $102.77 a barrel, snapping a two-session losing streak. That was Brent’s highest settlement since June 12.

Nymex crude slumped 3.2% on Tuesday to settle at its lowest since Jan. 14, while Brent crude lost 2.4% to end at its lowest since May 2013 on well-supplied physical markets.
