Dagang Nexchange Bhd's (DneX) recent venture into oil and gas and energy sector is expected to be raised at its AGM on Wednesday, June 24.
According to the Minority Shareholders Watchdog Group (MSWG), it plans to raise questions about the proposed acquisition of the entire equity interest of OGPC Sdn Bhd and OGPC O&G Sdn Bhd.
To recap, on June 18, 2014, the company announced plans to buy the entire stake of the OGPC -- which is a leading provider of equipment and services for O&G, petrochemical and power industries -- as the group diversifies into O&G and energy industry.
Last year, DneX said it would acquire the stake of OGPC and OGPC O&G Sdn Bhd
for RM203mil.
