MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index at 1,720.23.

Volume was 34.5 million lots worth RM15.9 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 73 to 114.
