MALAYSIA share prices opened flat on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.59 points to 1718.71.

Volume was 13.68 million lots worth RM7.04 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 74 to 37.
