Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) receives the 'Best Investment Bank' in Malaysia award at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2015 as it boosted its revenues in a period when other banks fell back, according to Euromoney.
In a joint statement Euromoney said on Wednesday that the investment bank had strong showings particularly in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and debt capital markets that were backed up by a decent performance in merger and acquisition.
Euromoney’s Asia Awards are seen as the benchmark for firms in the financial services industry in the region.
