BIMB Securities Research expects the Malaysian stock market to stay flattish on Thursday with the 1,730 as the immediate resistance.
It said while the KLCI ended the Wednesday up 1.83 points to 1,725.56, foreign funds resumed their selling with net selling at RM58mil after three days of net foreign inflows totalling RM242.5mil.
Retail investors were net sellers at RM27.9mil while local funds were net buyers at RM85.9mil.
Overnight on Wall Street, key indices closed relatively flat despite the sell-off on Disney following a cut on its earnings guidance.
