MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 18.90 points to 1634.28.

Volume was 259.2 million lots worth RM158.63 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 346 to 106.
