Kejuruteraan Samudra Timur Bhd has secured a contract from Lundin Malaysia B.V. to provide inspection services for the oil country tubular goods.
It said on Monday its unit Samudra Timur Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract on Sept 15, 2015. It had on Feb 12 received the consent from Lundin to the release the announcement about the contract.
“The contract shall be for the primary duration of two years with an extension option of one year effective from Sept 15, 2015,” it said.
Samudra said the value for such services depended on the demand and activity levels of Lundin and the scope of services rendered during the contract.
