EcoWorld-Ballymore’s UK project gets good take-up

EcoWorld-Ballymore, a 75:25 joint venture between Eco World International Bhd (EWI) and United Kingdom-based Ballymore Group, has sold more than half of the units of the first residential block in its single-largest property project in London – Embassy Gardens Phase 2.

Eco World-UK chief executive officer Cheong Heng Leong said more than 50% of the 197 units of Legacy Building 1 – one of the three apartment blocks in Phase 2 – had been taken. Embassy Gardens Phase 2 will have 709 luxury units and 163 affordable units, and an estimated gross development value of £957mil.

Phase 1 was developed wholly by Ballymore and was fully sold out.
