MALAYSIAN shares ended higher on Tuesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.18 points to close at 1,633.39.

Some 1.70 billion lots, valued at RM1.72 billion were traded.

Gainers numbered 479 while losers numbered 341.
