MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.630 points to 1628.520.

Volume was 35.02 million lots worth RM10.9 million.

Gainers outnumbered 62 losers to 58.
