MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.64 points to 1621.08.

Volume was 12 million lots worth RM5.6 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 69 to 61.
