MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 0.53 point to close at 1,726.73.

Some 841.03 million lots, valued at RM1.03 billion were traded.

Gainers numbered 314 while losers numbered 330.
