MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.07 points to 1731.12.

Volume was 30.73 million lots worth RM31.65 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 94 to 72.
