Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) may see changes as early as next month with two key appointments to help the national unit trust company.
Former minister and banker Tan Sri Wahid Omar is expected to be named chairman, while sources said former Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad may take on the role of CEO.
These appointments at PNB, which is a fund that serves primarily as a saving and investment arm for the bumiputra community, are expected to take effect from Aug 1.
