Forex Market Update : Epic Research Malaysia

The dollar was up against the yen and euro Monday as investors await Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen’s testimony before Congress on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The euro EURUSD -.00% was at $1.362 from $1.361 Friday, and at ¥138.34 from ¥137.90 against the yen.

The WSJ Dollar Index XX:BUXX +0.04% , a measure of the dollar against a basket of major currencies, was up 0.03% at 72.86 Monday morning.

The dollar USDJPY +0.04% continued to rise against the yen Monday, reaching ¥101.54 compared with ¥101.34 late Friday.
