October platinum PLV4 +0.32% rose $6.10 to $1,471.30 an ounce, while September palladium PAU4 +0.61% bumped up $7.75, or 0.9%, to $856.65 an ounce. High-grade copper for September delivery HGU4 -0.25% gained a penny to $3.18 a pound.
