MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.61 to 1872.55.

Volume was 71.3 million lots worth RM19.8 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 133 to 50.
