Gasoline for October delivery RBV4, -0.04% lost less than a penny, or 0.1%, to end at $2.5241 a gallon on Nymex.

Heating oil for October HOV4, -0.05% rose less than 1 cent, or 0.1%, to settle at $2.7561 a gallon on Nymex.
