Crude-oil futures fell Friday as a weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report revived fears of less demand for the commodity.
Light, sweet crude futures for delivery in October CLV4, -1.06% declined $1.16, or 1.2%, to settle at $93.29 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Weekly losses reached 2.8%. Futures are lower for nine of the past 11 weeks.
October Brent crude LCOV4, -0.84% on London’s ICE Futures exchange fell $1.01, or 1%, to $100.82 a barrel. On the week, Brent lost 2.3%.
