Forex Market Update : Epic Research Malaysia

The dollar relinquished early gains against the yen on Monday after disappointing August data showed U.S. existing-home sales recorded its first drop in five months.

The greenback closed Monday’s trading session at USDJPY, -0.06% at 108.79 yen, compared to ¥108.90 late Friday.
The euro EURUSD, +0.02% traded at $1.2849 Monday, compared to $1.2831 Friday, and 0.7850 pound EURGBP, -0.14% compared to £0.7876.

The pound GBPUSD, +0.16%  traded higher against the dollar Monday at $1.6341, compared to $1.6292 Friday.
A WSJ Dollar Index BUXX, -0.10% a measure of the dollar against a basket of major currencies, was virtually unchanged at 76.93.
