Forex Market Update : Epic Research Malaysia

The dollar regained some of its losses against the yen in Asia trade Thursday, with Japanese importers buying the greenback after seeing it fall to a five-week low overnight.

The dollar USDJPY, +0.22%  was at ¥106.16, up from ¥105.90 late Wednesday in New York.

The euro EURUSD, -0.31%  was at $1.2817 from $1.2836, while the common currency EURJPY, -0.07%  was at ¥136.08 from ¥135.98.

The WSJ Dollar Index BUXX, +0.27%  , a measure of the dollar against a basket of major currencies, was up 0.19% at 77.03.
