Malaysia share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.58 points to 1,838.03.
Volume was 73.934 milion lots worth RM33.28 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 128 to 56.
