China's Spring Airlines will resume its charter flight service from Shanghai to Sabah effective Oct 25.
The airline first launched the route in July 2013. The charter flight had been popular, with the passenger load factor reportedly exceeding 95%. It suspended the service in April last year.
The airline and Tourism Malaysia on Wednesday jointly held a ceremony for the resumption of service and in conjunction with the "Spring Tour Malaysia Week".
The event was attended by Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz and Tourism Malaysia chairman Wee Choo Keong.
