MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.50 points to 1,715.70.

Volume was 88.1 million lots worth RM29.54 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 106 to 88.
