German multinational conglomerate Siemens AG has signed a long-term maintenance agreement with Tenaga Malaysia Bhd's repair and maintenance arm, TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn Bhd (TNB Remaco), to maintain the Connaught Bridge Power Plant in Klang.
Siemens said the long-term maintenance agreement will help to ensure safe and reliable operations over the lifecycle of the Connaught Bridge Power Plant by providing predictable maintenance costs and extended warranty coverage.
The agreement is also for the supply of original equipment manufacturer spare parts and professional outage management for a term of 14 years or 99,000 equivalent operating hours, it said in a statement.
