MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.75 points to 1683.43.

Volume was 36 million lots worth RM11.6 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 101 to 76.
