MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.22 points to 1641.92.

Volume was 38.1 million lots worth RM12.3 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 121 to 52.
