MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.94 points to 1634.34.

Volume was 38 million lots worth RM14.5 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 121 to 36.
