MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.24 points to 1658.75.

Volume was 35.2 million lots worth RM14.3 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 83 to 60.
