Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) has confirmed that Datuk Zakaria Arshad has been appointed as the new chief executive officer (CEO).
It said on Tuesday his appointment takes effect from April 1, confirming a StarBiz report.
“With this new appointment, FGV will continue to strengthen its position as a global sustainable agribusiness player,” chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad said in a statement.
Zakaria has been the executive vice president/head of palm downstream cluster of FGV since 2014.
