MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Thursday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index losing 13.06 points to close at 1,614.90.

Some 1.57 billion lots, valued at RM1.55 billion, were traded.

Gainers numbered 195 while losers numbered 591.
