Shares of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) saw its share price surge to a high of RM1.70 on Monday on rising positive outlook for the world's third largest plantation company.
At 3pm, FGV was up 15 sen to RM1.70 with 21.34 million shares done while its call warrants FGV-C11 added 3.5 sen to 11.5 sen with 39.43 million units traded.
The firm rebound in FGV shares was in contrast with the overall cautious market. The FBM KLCI fell 1.77 points or 0.11% to 1,666.63. Turnover was 1.05 billion shares valued at RM754.44mil.
FGV's all time high was RM4.82 in July 2012 when it was listed.
