MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Tuesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 0.290 points to close at 1,670.55.

Some 1.88 billion lots, valued at RM2.0 billion were traded.

Gainers numbered 424 while losers numbered 376.
