MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.46 points to 1892.62.

Volume was 1.62 billion lots worth RM1.98 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 440 to 354.
