The Finance Ministry (MoF) welcomes proposals and feedback from all levels of society as input towards the formulation of Budget 2016 to be tabled in Parliament on Oct 23.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said the preparation process for the Budget is proceeding smoothly, beginning with the Budget Consultation 2016 chaired by Prme Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on June 15.
In a statement on Friday, Ahmad Husni said the first in a series of focus group meetings held on Aug 4, themed "Enhancing Inclusivity for the People's Well-Being", focused on raising the incomes of the bottom 40% (B40) of households.
