Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd’s falling stock price has taken another casualty, with Datuk Seri Muhammad Syafiq Baljit Abdullah ceasing to be a substantial shareholder in the company following a forced sale of his shares.
The stock tumbled 6% yesterday to a new low of 23 sen.
According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Datuk Seri Muhammad Syafiq Baljit Abdullah ceased to be substantial shareholders on Nov 4 after he sold 67 million shares.
This had halved his holdings in the company from 115 million shares previously.
