Poultry-based Huat Lai Resources Bhd, which was queried over the recent rise in its share prices, is unaware of the reasons for the increase.
In its reply to Bursa Securities Research on Monday, it said that after making due enquiry with the major shareholders and other relevant persons, there were no reasons for the share price increase.
Huat Lai said it was not aware of any corporate development relating to its business and affairs that had not been previously announced that might account for the trading activity including those in the stage of negotiation/discussion.
