CIMB Bank Singapore targets RM3bil annual card billings

CIMB Bank Singapore is targeting to register S$1 billion or about RM3 billion in annual card billings and acquire a further 270,000 customers in the next three years.

The bank expects to achieve the target with its latest strategy of granting 10% cash rebates on selected spend categories and zero administative fee for overseas and online transactions for its Visa Signature and Platinum MasterCard card members.

"We are confident of expanding the relationship with our existing customers as well as reaching out to new ones," head of credit cards and personal financing Srihari G. Sikhakollu said in a statement.
