EPF considers partnership with EWB in three projects

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has expressed interest on a non-binding basis to participate in Eco World Development Group Bhd’s (EWB) three property projects, including the massive development in Ijok, Selangor.

EWB said that the EPF’s consideration came about after the group invited the pension fund based on its plan to raise equity at the project level via partnerships.

“The EPF has responded with a letter of expression of interest on a non-binding basis to participate in the joint-development of the above land subject to conditions contained therein, details of which will be disclosed upon the entry of the relevant agreements with the EPF,” said EWB in a statement.
