MAHB slides after Istanbul airport attack

Shares of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) fell to an intra-day low of RM6.05 on Wednesday on news about the Turkey airport shooting where suspected Islamic State bombers killed 36 people on Tuesday.

At 3.13pm, it was down 17 sen to RM6.17. There were 2.77 million shares done at prices ranging from RM6.05 to RM6.40.

News reports said airlines had suspended their flights on Wednesday, including Turkish Airlines which halted its flights until 8am on Wednesday.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said findings point to Islamic State responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on Istanbul's Ataturk main international airport that killed 36 people and wounded many more on Tuesday.
